Former President Bill Clinton was in Jonesboro Wednesday night to campaign
for U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln and Congress-hopeful Chad Causey. Arkansas
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, a Jonesboro native, told the crowd of well
over 1,500 people that it was the largest group they had seen that day.
Clinton focused his speech on the economy and the nation's budget over the
past 10 years. The group, including U.S. Congressman Marion Berry, Pulaski
County Clerk Pat O'Brien, who is running for Arkansas Secretary of State,
and L.J. Bryant, who is running for land commissioner traveled across the
state Wednesday to campaign for the upcoming Nov. 2 midterm elections.
