There is a lot of great stuff going on and positive energy in full swirl which is all great. Attached are two documents: one being a "Concept" operating option for Global Risk Services which I think reflects some good group think from last week; and another being the "overview deck" on the concept (the "overview"). Please review and gather your questions, comments, etc. I think the main objectives behind this exploratory work so far is to (and these are my words, so blame me if needed): 1. Create a self contained "hub" to conduct cleared work with the USG and their suppliers in an appropriate way 2. Provide a "hub" for key ICs with special and interesting talents in the "risk" sector to operate from in a profit-sharing mode 3. Develop the ability to integrate "political work" internationally with Jay under a consolidate roof so we give Jay scale and provide a long standing vehicle to partner with Jay 4. Build the RSP network 5. Provide a structure to narrow the focus of strategy and branding around the "risk" sector that leverages legacy Rosemont activities and interests 6. Allow the Core RSP Advisory business to proper without any real or perceived conflicts and/or branding challenges (i.e., "we can't do this because . . . ") 7. Provide a focused offering to pursue a fund/merchant banking model in a narrow/market with purpose 8. Leverage the unique opportunity work with a rare talent and commercially attractive individual - Rob Mitchell 9. Buy us time and use our time productively that generates value and cash flow while we explore and evaluate the Vide/RSA opportunity 10. Provide earning potential and wealth creation opportunities for all equity participants 11. Give Neil something to do before he drives everyone crazy Read through all the docs and thinking above and then let's set up a time to chat. Ideally we can do this face to face, but practically speaking this may not be fully possible. I suggest we do a call later this week to review - how about Thursday the 15th at 3pm EST? The DC guys and NYC can huddle and I can fire up a webex or something. Let me know if this makes sense or if you have additional and/or alternative suggestions on how to proceed. Best, Neil ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Neil Callahan Rosemont Seneca 401 Greenwich Street, Suite 400 | New York NY 10013 | 212-933-9965 | 212-796-4037 1010 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 705 | Washington DC 20007 | 202-333-1880 917-945-9516 (mobile) 866-749-8879 (fax)
