Coming out of today's meeting, we have the following tasks and deadlines. If there are any questions or if I missed anything please let me know and I can make the additions.

Action Items

DOT

1. CAF USA will draft a letter to Sec. Ray LaHood (CC-ing DOT General Counsel, the NY delegation and relevant committee members) in which we explain our position and ask for a clarifying letter that absolves CAF of responsibility for the issues with Houston Metro and the FTA. As discussed it will be signed by CAF's International General Manager. Deadline: ASAP

2. SKDK and Rosemont Seneca will review the letter before sending.

3. SKDK will follow-up once the letter is sent to see who will handle response.

Houston

1. CAF USA will keep SKDK and Rosemont Seneca up to date on timing of mediation and when the process will officially begin for planning and media purposes.

2. SKDK will develop a plan and messaging for media outreach around mediation to position CAF USA as wanting a quick resolution.

Miami

1. CAF USA will send Nell the final letters to Miami Commissioners as well as the draft recommendation from MDT to the commission to send to reporters. Deadline: ASAP

2. SKDK will send materials (letters, tape) to reporters.

Los Angeles

1. SKDK will follow-up with Virginia and Tomar on timing of trip and for additional information on LA expansion. Deadline: ASAP

1. SKDK will follow-up with Virginia and Tomar on upcoming bids and milestones so that a long-term, proactive plan can be developed.
