Following up on our meeting in DC a couple of weeks ago and on subsequent conversations, I thought it would be helpful to put down some bullets that detail the near-term action items/plan between now and the end of the year so we are all focused and on the same page. None of this should be seen as a pause in our current activities, quite the contrary, but more as a way to use the next few weeks to set us up to expand and grow the business going forward. Let me know if you have any questions. I think we can cover a lot of the day to day coordination in our weekly delivery call, but it also might make sense to do a separate call sometime next week to focus on follow up specific to these bullets.

Alternative Investment Advisory

Plan through the end of 2010


1) Assess regulatory compliance issues with deadline of having at least an interim mechanism in place by Jan. 1st.
2) Arlene to schedule day or two in early to mid November in New York for pitches/current client follow up
3) Continue bi-weekly newsletter and all other policy related work
4) Continue networking on behalf of our clients, with an eye towards low hanging fruit in the high net worth, foreign investor, and university, endowment or Taft-Hartley space. Public (state and local) funds should be avoided for the time being.
5) Work on developing CRM systems (Sugar) (i.e., uploading contacts, training, etc.)
6) Aim for a dinner in NY on December 8th
7) Further develop Marketing Materials/Pitch Deck, etc.
