Most powerful and difficult to watch story I have seen in a long time. Looks like we need to send more food, but somehow we have to get these folks to the peace table. Unfortunately that means the Saudis and Iranians.

Subject: WFP USA Feb 2018 Meeting & Contact List

Happy Friday, all.

It has been decided that WFP USA’s 2018 February Board Meeting format will shift from a one-day to a two-day session. I will send an updated meeting request for:

Tuesday, Feb 20th 2:00 pm - Wednesday, Feb. 21st at 12:00 pm


· Tuesday afternoon will be a “plenary” session with a topical discussion on one or more of WFP-USA’s strategic issues

· Tuesday evening we will convene a dinner with a presentation/discussion on an external topic with a special guest (e.g., report from WFP Rome, an outside person from USAID, State, the Hill, etc.)

· Wednesday morning the business meeting will begin at 8 or 8:30 and conclude before lunch.

Advance knowledge of this schedule should help those who need to make travel plans as well.

Also attached is our updated Board Contact List. Please let me know if you have any questions.
