Earlier this week Governor O'Malley sent you and a select group of other supporters a letter requesting urgent support for our redoubled GOTV efforts for the final week. The Governor gave the go ahead to begin the program, but it cannot be fully mounted without the additional resources.

Governor O'Malley is out on the campaign trail, but he touches base with me every day to hear how our fundraising numbers are and how close we are to being able to fund our GOTV program. He has personally asked me reach out to you, our most faithful supporters, to close the gap this final week. I know it would really energize him going in to the final weekend to know that he has your support.

In the mailing we enclosed a United States Postal Service Priority Envelope so your contribution will be rushed back to our office. If you already dropped it in the mail, thank you. We are now at a critical moment in the campaign. With your past help we have laid a strong foundation to win but in order to make all your hard work a reality we must get out the vote. That's why we have assembled an massive field effort to get out the vote during the final week of the campaign, and it's why we need your support.

Our field program includes 50 campaign offices across the state, canvassers walking Maryland block by block, thousands of phonebankers contacting voters, and drivers taking people to the polls to ensure that Marylanders' voices are heard on November 2nd.

We are down to the wire now and need the support of people like you. If we don't have the resources to mount an unprecedented GOTV effort, we are in critical danger of letting Maryland slide backwards. I know I don't want to wake up on November 3rd and wonder, 'Could we have done more?'

Every dollar that you give will support our volunteers and the critical effort to talk to voters and get them to the polls.
