Eric,
The hotel group I am trying to get engaged by is called Boston East India
Hotels. They are seeking to raise capital for expansion (which will be in
the US and Europe) and they also will be developing additional technology
for operations and this operating entity should be attractive given all the
big data uses and can later spin off itself. I don't want to share the name
around the market yet since not retained but take a look and see if an
investment into this entity may be of interest to the funds approaching you
and we can tee it up in the next month or so once engaged.

Another avenue: I know a company that has a TSX listed vehicle (Plymouth
realty capital corp) and they are seeking up to $15 mio to invest into the
Toronto REIT so that they can buy their first qualifying asset. A few
million dollars have been spent to date for diligence, legal and regulatory
compliance.

The funds will be used to purchase limited service hotels in the US. Thus,
a new investor gets the liquidity in a public entity and the tax benefits
from a Canadian reit investing in US properties. It is projected to be
accretive immediately. While not a direct property investment, a fund or
family office may like the real estate play, tax advantages and
diversification. If this is of interest then I can line up an engagement
contract.
