What do you think? Arlene Arlene Busch 202-333-1880 abusch@rosemontseneca.com *From:* Patrick Nackley [mailto:PatrickN@Supersvcs.com] *Sent:* Thursday, January 08, 2015 2:41 PM *To:* abusch@rosemontseneca.com *Cc:* Dave Cook; Eric Schwerin (eschwerin@rosemontseneca.com) *Subject:* RE: SHS 'Wish List' Good afternoon Arlene: Thank you for addressing the NDA so promptly. I’ve attached the mutually executed signature page. Pursuant to your conversation with Mr. Cook, I’ve included the big three servicers we have been courting, and tried to give you a sense of where we are in our solicitation of that business. A couple of points – first point, all are former clients. Each has a substantial FHA portfolio, and services that portfolio internally. More loans underwritten and more loans serviced means a higher number of defaults that must be addressed. Why former? My second point - all are now utilizing competitors that offer the “one-stop-shop” or full spectrum of default services. I think the old axiom applies here, and that is jack of all trades, master of none. But many default managers want someone to say to them, “hey, I can do everything…and you can essentially dump a number of obligations on to my doorstep all at once.” So many different managers (managers that likely do not communicate inter-office) utilize the same vendor for outsourced services. Again, we want to reach a decision-maker at a higher level (or the highest level) that has the ‘horsepower’ if you will to demand that business be carved out for SHS if certain standards or deliverables are not met by the current vendor. The information that we are providing is sensitive and should be treated as such per the NDA. *Bank of America *(warm lead) Primary Default Responsibility – Ann Thorn: SVP of Liquidation Strategies Primary Default Contact – Alan Bryant: Title changes routinely, not sure what it is now, but at one point his titled read ‘Centralized Property Preservation’ These are very senior contacts, particularly Ann Thorn. Both are in offices in Texas. Ann most likely reports to senior BAC leadership in Charlotte, North Carolina. *Citi *(cold lead) Contact One – Marie Sigler: Unit Manager Our office worked with Ms. Sigler when SHS was a Citi vendor, but we know that Citi has restructured its default group. Ms. Sigler was in Maryland, and many Maryland offices closed. Last update was she was working in or around the D.C. area for Citigroup, although it may not be directly in operations. Many responsibilities were moved around, some to St. Louis, some to Texas. It is likely that there are now a number of layers of contacts/authority that supersede in our LOB. So the direction we can provide re: contacts is limited. *Chase *(frigid lead) Contact One – Mike Lawler: Vice President - Sr. Risk Oversight Manager It has been a number of years since SHS worked as a vendor for Chase, so our list of warm contacts is slim. Our office worked for Mr. Lawler when he was employed with another organization, and he moved to Chase (in Ohio) to manage operations governing our LOB. Again, the structure and authority for operations likely far supersede our direct contacts. The direction we can provide is thus very limited. Please let me know if you have any questions. Again, we are looking for assistance in identifying contacts that have the authority/position within the organization to understand operational obligations, and demand execution of directives to meet those obligations.
