He felt great as he often does right afterwards because he liked them and
it was a very constructive meeting. Also unlike Biller or SRC, NEPC is a
big player in the HF world and Seer has been meeting with them for years,
so it was helpful to learn the process and feel that they may have an
internal sponsor. Also Elliiot really liked Andrew and even told us about
his own short sale of his house in Vegas. But it also highlights how
important it is to fight inertia in the consultant world to expedite a
process that is otherwise designed for permanent limbo. We can feel good
if/ when the ODD and onsite is scheduled.

Having dinner at the airport. Don't want the ppl around me to hear as they
all look like Wall St types. Meeting went really well from a rapport
perspective. Two hours. Was John with Dan Hennessey who is new and will be
overseeing TH out of Redwood City. Amanda who knows Seer and oversees
credit was out sick unfortunately (she contacted Andrew to let him know).
John told AP that the Deutsche Bank story about how they hedged and made
money during the crisis while their peers were imploding, coupled with the
fact that banks can no longer be in this space is the pitch for THs.
Bottom line, is that Amanda needs to make the call to do ODD and an onsite.
Then it gets presented to the investment committee, then if it gets
approved, John and Dan can recommend their clients.

So John is going to follow up with Amanda to see how Seer can get on that
short list, and our follow up should be with her as opposed to John.
