We're Firing Up the Grill: Don't Miss the 11th Grade Parent BBQ Sunday, May 1, 5-7pm, Sledge Garden (following the Spring US Instrumental Concert taking place in the courtyard outside the Arts Center)


Mark your calendars and join fellow 11th grade parents as we blow off some "are-we-really-looking-at-colleges-already?!" steam at the final parent celebration of the year. We look forward to seeing you Sunday, May 1st at 5pm in The Sledge Garden for a casual gathering featuring Rocklands BBQ. Start your afternoon at the Upper School Instrumental Concert featuring the Upper School Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles playing an open-air concert in the courtyard outside the US Arts Center from 2:30-4:30pm and then join old friends and new.

US Choral and Instrumental Concerts- 4/29 (7:30-9pm) and 5/1 (2:30-4:30pm)

This weekend offers two wonderful opportunities to enjoy the hard work of our talented Upper School musicians. On Friday, 4/29 from 7:30-9pm, the US Spring Choral Concert will take place in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room, featuring the Upper School Chorus, Chamber Chorus and student-led a cappella groups under the direction of Choral Arts Teacher John Touchton.


On Sunday, May 1, from 2:30-4:30pm the Upper School Orchestra and several section of the Upper School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Instrumental Music Teacher David Merlin-Jones will perform in the courtyard outside the Arts Center (in case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors). Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful instrumental music al fresco before gathering for the 11th grade parent reception at 5pm.


AP Exam Schedule and Notices


AP exams will take place between May 2-13. Students taking afternoon AP exams are excused from morning classes. Students who take morning AP exams are asked to attend afternoon classes. Junior classes are canceled on May 4 and May 6 for the English and US History exams, respectively. Juniors who sit for these exams will be excused after the exams end, and juniors who are not taking these AP exams are excused from school on those days.
