Congratulations to the following winners of the Club Championship and Flights for 2012:

Long Beach Cup
Congratulations to Steve Jacox, the Long Beach Cup Champion for 2012. He was joined in the Final Four by season long points leader Tony Excell, Jeff Diemand and Cliff Johnson. These 4 gentlemen played an 18 hole low-net, stroke play competition this past Sunday to determine the overall winner for the season. The Long Beach Cup is a season long points competition where players are awarded points for both participation and order of finish in each event. Congratulations to the Final Four and the overall champion Steve Jacox!

Monday, September 10th - Course closed all day for outside tournament
Monday, September 17th - Course closed
Tuesday, September 18th - Limited availability due to outside event. Call shop if you want to play and we will get you out.
Thursday, September 20th - Course closed in afternoon for outside tournament. We will have an 8:00 a.m. shotgun for those who want to play this day.
Monday, September 24th - Course closed all day for outside tournament.
Monday, October 1 - Greens and Tees Aerification Begins
Monday, October 8 - Fairways Aerification Begins

Tee Times After Labor Day
As in the past, tee times will no longer be required on weekends after Labor Day. However, if you are planning on bringing guests or have a group that would like to play you may still make tee times any day by calling the golf shop at 219-872-8547. This is important especially if you are planning on playing on a Friday before a University of Notre Dame home football game (September 7, 14 & 21). Please call to reserve a spot and let us know if you plan on bringing guests as those Fridays get very busy and the advance notice would be appreciated to assess if we need to bring in additional rental golf carts. Also, there are several member sponsored groups playing this September so it is always best to call the golf shop to arrange a time when you are planning on playing this fall.
