Hi all, I am the only one in my immediate family without life threatening food allergies so I cannot escape food allergy concerns.... The "Ingredients" section for Nature Valley Oat 'n Honey says it "may contain" these ingredients: "Peanut, Almond and Pecan." Snack products that say they "may contain" nuts are not guaranteed to be nut-free. In fact, the manufacturer is clearly warning consumers that nuts may be present. Our allergist is pretty adamant that she does not want her patients with food allergies eating foods that say "May contain" an ingredient for which the patient has an allergy. One better alternative is "School Safe" snacks that can be found at Whole Foods. I also found a list of suggested peanut and tree nut-free foods on the Web. It may be useful but I recommend that you read the labels for these snack before buying. Here is the link: http://www.firstkidspreschool.org/images/peanut-freesnacks.pdf Best, Janell [image: Inline image 1] On Sat, Sep 10, 2016 at 10:14 AM, Roger Wallace <rogerpwallace@gmail.com> wrote: > During preseason practice we sent Nature Valley Oats & Honey granola bars > that do NOT contain any nuts. > > Roger (Langley Grace's dad) > > On Fri, Sep 9, 2016 at 3:25 PM, Sarah Morgenthau <smorgent@aol.com> wrote: > >> Thanks so much Linda for organizing all of us.
