Dear Parents of SFS seniors, class of 2017!Welcome to 12th grade! We are your new class reps, and we would like to introduce ourselves, and also thank our predecessors – Gus Bessalel, Heather Coryell, Fatim Haidara, and Lori McFarling for all their work over the last year. We are looking forward to sending out updates, organizing potlucks and keeping everyone informed of our graduation-related events during the year. Our emails will come from this dedicated Sidwell Grade Rep account, so please look out for them. Also, please keep an eye out for news from the College Counseling office as well the Sunday Newsletter, which will have up-to-date information Senior/ Upper School happenings.To kick off the school year, we will have a 12th Grade Parents Welcome Back Reception, on Friday, September 9, from 7pm - 9pm at the Athletic Center. We hope everyone will be able to attend.We will have two grade-wide potlucks during the year. Mark your calendars for first one, which the Dwoskin family has graciously agreed to host on Saturday, September 24th from 7pm - 9pm. Their address is 1255 Crest Lane, McLean, VA 22101. A sign-up genius email will be sent out soon, where you can sign up to bring food and beverages.The second grade-wide potluck will be held during the mid-January to February time frame.
