The Trump administration is carrying out a brutal crackdown on our immigrant community. And it's happening even in places that were widely considered sanctuaries, where people used to be able to learn, heal, and pray without fear. It's turned schools, hospitals, and houses of worship into places of fear for undocumented immigrants.

This use of intimidation is not the America I know. Stand with me to support the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting people in their schools, hospitals, and places of worship.

I immigrated to the United States myself as a child, and my heart breaks when I hear the stories of families who have been torn apart by deportation. And it's especially cruel when ICE makes arrests that interfere with public safety, health, and our children's education.

Members of our community, regardless of their immigration status, deserve to feel safe attending school, going to a courthouse, and seeking help from hospitals or law enforcement. They deserve to live without the fear of deportation in these situations.
