<p>LETTER FROM THE SFS ATHLETIC DIRECTOR</p><p> Friends,</p><p>I’d like to share with you an exciting milestone we may witness Friday. Coach Simon stands to see his 100<sup>th</sup> win this Friday against arch rival Maret. Kickoff is at 4pm at Duke Ellington Field on 38th St NW & R St NW. It would be terrific to have the community come support Coach Simon and the team in a key league matchup. It is Maret’s homecoming weekend so it should be a festive atmosphere at the game. </p><p>I’d also like to congratulate all of our teams on a fabulous 7-0 homecoming weekend. As a newcomer to Sidwell Friends I was really impressed with the great fan support on campus that I’m sure helped motivate our teams to victory. It was also wonderful to honor Coach Lou, and to celebrate the naming of the David P. Pearson ’52 Athletic Center. </p><p>In addition to the Maret game, our PA Athletics Committee wants me to note the following GAMETIME dates on our campus as another opportunity to bring community together to celebrate our student athletes:</p><p>Field Hockey (girls) –10/25 v. Holy Child at 4:15 p.m.</p><p>Boys Soccer –10/24 v. Potomac at 4:15 p.m.</p><p>Girls Soccer –10/20 v. Holy Child at 4:15 p.m.</p><p>Volleyball (girls) –10/31 v.
