Tonight’s Colbert Report will include a segment on the Census Bureau’s
recent report showing the largest number of Americans living in poverty
since the federal government started collecting these statistics in 1951. I
am honored that they have asked for Save the Children’s perspective. I will
be appearing on the show to talk with Colbert about the impact of poverty on
our nation and on our children.
