Just when you think rock is dead, something, someone, somewhere emerges to provide a glimmer of hope. And from the small town of Frankenmuth, Michigan (pop. 5,131) comes a band of brothers and their good friend the drummer from down around the corner, all under the age of 21 called “Greta Van Fleet.”

Greta Van Fleet is overtly Led Zeppelin-esque. Stunningly so.

The late, legendary Memphis producer/musician Jim Dickinson once told me “not everyone can write songs like Bob Dylan, and not everyone should try to. Instead, they should just play like their favorite bands and see where it goes.”
