DRAFT EMAIL TO SECRETARY LOWERY RE: ARGENTINE EDUCATION CONFERENCE

Dear Secretary Lowery-

I first want to congratulate you for all the great work you are doing in the State of Delaware. The success of the school system, especially as recognized through the award of Race to the Top funding for Delaware speaks to your leadership and makes me proud of my home state.

I also wanted to give you a heads up about an invitation you may have received from a friend of mine, Esteban Bullrich, who is the Minister of Education for the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Minister Bullrich is organized an international education reform conference in Buenos Aires on June 2nd and I know they have invited you to attend. I don't have any involvement with this Conference, but Esteban has become a good friend of mine and I told him I would reach out to you and let you know he is someone I think very highly of.
