A White House statement said Biden "discussed the importance of the unified international effort under way" to carry out the U.N. resolution authorizing military action in Libya. In the call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayid al Nahyan, Biden also thanked him for his country's humanitarian contributions to the Libya effort. Biden and the crown prince agreed to continue "close coordination" on Libya, the White House said. U.S. President Barack Obama earlier called Turkey's prime minister and Qatar's emir to consult about Libya. (Writing by Caren Bohan; Editing by Peter Cooney) Eric D.
