Good to hear from you. I hope your trip to India is going well.

I had a bronchoscopy last week, which has confirmed that I have lung cancer
(adenocarcinoma). I will see a medical oncologist on Thursday and hopefully
start chemotherapy soon thereafter, at Hopkins Hospital. In the meanwhile,
cells are being analyzed by a university consortium in Colorado to determine
biomarkers and receptors, to see whether the cells may be amenable to
treatment by other methods as well (biologics therapy).

I have a positive attitude and I am still pretty healthy. No matter what
the odds or statistics, I'm a fighter. I plan to live a long while yet.

I look forward to seeing you when you get back.

Chris - I'm really concerned about your news. To clarify what I heard, the
doctors have discovered an area, but they have not done a biopsy yet? When
do you go in and when do you get your results? Chris - anything I can do
please let me know. I will call and would like to see you when I come back
to town.
