Dear 11th Grade Parents:

As most of you have heard by now the Sidwell Friends Prom will take place on Saturday, May 14th and we need lots of volunteers! There are many jobs that need filling so truly something for everyone.

We need the following volunteers:

1) During the late afternoon on May 14th we need people to help set up and decorate the National Press Club.
2) Starting at about 9:00 pm we need people to help set up for the after party
3) Throughout the whole event we need parents to help security in the garage and to help with the buses.
4) Chaperones and helpers for the After Party from 12:20 a.m. -2:30 a.m... (NOTE: this is where we need our biggest number of volunteers.)
5) Clean up at the end of the After Party -should take about an hour

I know that most of you are thinking that your kids don't want you anywhere near the prom but please don't let that stop you from signing up. You can assure your student that you will be so busy that you will not have time to spy on them and truthfully without parent volunteers this event cannot happen.
