We anticipate a great turn-out for this event as we gather in this historic city for 2 days of great discussion and world famous dining. We hope you will mark your calendar for this festive and important event! Program planning is well underway and an invitation and agenda in formation will be released in the coming weeks. You should plan to arrive in New Orleans by lunchtime Thursday, May 12 and remain through lunch Friday, May 13 to participate in all portions of the conference. Registration will open in mid-March. You can reserve your room at the Ritz-Carlton by [2]clicking here with Group Code _BLFBLFA_ or by calling 1.800.826.8987 and asking for the Democratic Attorneys General Association room block. DAGA has secured a room rate of $219 per night + tax and applicable fees for Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12 only. Please note that the Ritz-Carlton cannot offer that rate after our program has concluded due to a number of city-wide events that weekend. Rooms are limited and we cannot guarantee the rate or availability if the room block sells out. The room block will close on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 and DAGA cannot guarantee rate or room availability after that date. The Ritz-Carlton requires a deposit for your first night’s stay and a credit card number when you reserve your room. As always, you are responsible making your reservation and for hotel costs. In the event you need to cancel, we will do our best to resell your room, but if we cannot, and you cancel any later than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival, you will be responsible for the hotel’s cancellation fee of one night’s charge plus tax. Please contact Andrea Mietus at [3]andrea@democraticags.org or 301.309.1908 if you need assistance with accommodations.
