An open mic night to share poems, stories, songs, and whatever else moves you in
a low-pressure environment. Sponsored by the FJV Portland Advisory Committee.

friends, and children are welcome!

Both Hands: A Retreat Exploring Full-Hearted Choices -Camp Burton, Vashon Island,
WA

Sponsored by Magis. Are you wondering how to make faith and heart-filled choices
at this time in your life? Have you been experiencing transitions in your life lately:
perhaps making a job change; considering a move to another city; thinking about
graduate school, volunteering or retirement; or pondering a significant relationship?
If so, then join Fr. Jack Bentz, S.J., Maria L. Ochoa, and Sr. Cathy Beckley, SNJM
for the three-day Transitions Retreat at beautiful Camp Burton on Vashon Island.
Come together with a community of Jesuit-educated alumni for a time of reflection
on deep heartfelt desires, with an opportunity to practice prayer/discernment tools
within the Ignatian tradition and beyond. The retreat will include short interactive
presentations, individual reflection/prayer time, optional small group spiritual
direction, and a Sunday liturgy. This retreat is open to Jesuit-educated alumni
of all faith backgrounds. Cost is $75 (with a $25 non-refundable deposit) and includes
room, board, and transportation to and from the retreat center. Magis has subsidized
this retreat at a rate of just over 50%. Only a few spots are left, so sign up today!

Looking for the right housemate! - Portland, OR

Looking for a housemate to rent lovely room plus private kitchen/entrance in second
story of large shared home (most of a second story apartment). Huge closet. All
utilities, laundry access and wifi included. $550 a month. Available after April

multiethnic family of four plus a black lab living in close old Portland home in
NE Portland (Near PCC Cascadia/ St. Andrew parish). There will be some shared living,

from time to time too. We need someone that likes some shared living but is independent,
loves school age kids, dogs and doesn't mind family life going on below them. We
