I know vp is with whole family--alan suggested I email you both instead of calling to interrupt. The VP's analogy yesterday of the time before vawa where people blamed the victim/to republicans blaming the victim is getting some negative play today. The RNC has hit him on it and it's been picked up on FOX--ive responded to very few queries--but wanted the boss to be aware that this is out there. At this time, we don't recommend vp respond himself. I have responded with: "The Vice President was obviously making the point that on any issue, we shouldn't blame the victim. Blaming workers or union members for states' fiscal crises--an argument made by some Republican governors -- isn't the answer."
