Read MoreUS FAMILY COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT Sunday, April 3, 12:00-3:00pm, Stokes ES, DC US Community Service, in partnership with Behrend’s Builders, will be working with Peter Nalli of Seedling Projects' From Farm to Desk D.C. Mr. Nalli is helping develop a nutrition and gardening curriculum as part of the general programming at the Stokes Elementary School, and is building a garden to supplement it. SFS students and their families are invited to build additional raised beds, and prep the existing ones for spring planting. There will be work for adults, as well as younger volunteers. Behrend's Builders will supply tools and materials, and needs to know how many volunteers to expect. To volunteer, please contact David Connell or June Das Gupta. CAR WASH TO BENEFIT THE OUTING CLUB Sunday, April 3, 11am-4pm, Wisconsin Ave. Garage Bring your car to the Wisconsin Avenue garage on Sunday, April 3rd, between 11 am and 4 pm, for the Outing Club Car Wash. Drive on in, and for a reasonable charge, club members will wash your car and you will drive out with a clean car and the satisfaction of having supported the activities of the Upper School's Outing Club.
