Billy Korrow Memorial 5K Run

Sunday, May 1 at 8:30 a.m. at Loyola High School

Billy Korrow was a student at Loyola High School before he died more than 18 years
ago. This year's race marks the 18th annual 5K in his memory.
The 3.1-mile race, beginning at Loyola and running through the neighborhood, gives
special awards to Loyola students, faculty and staff in addition to the traditional
awards.

The Packard Center's Fiesta 5K

Saturday, May 7 at 8 a.m. at Power Plant Live!

All proceeds from the Fiesta 5K benefit the Robert Packard Center for ALS research
at Johns Hopkins. The Center is the only international

research organization dedicated solely to the disease.

The Fiesta 5K is in a new location this year. Starting at Power Plant Live!, this
3.1-mile, chip-timed race runs through downtown Baltimore.

Hosted by the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce, this race in
the Dolfield Business Park in Owings Mills benefits the Infusion Services at the

The third annual Maryland Half Marathon is also at a new location, the Maple Lawn
Community Center in Fulton, Md.

Saturday, May 21 at 8 a.m. at Aberdeen Proving Ground

This 6.2-miles race takes place on the grounds of Aberdeen Proving Ground. Unique
awards are given to active military. Name identification is required for anyone
registered for the race. Race-day registrants will be required to obtain a visitor's
pass so please allow plenty of time before the race.

Sunday, May 22 at 9 a.m. at DuBurns Arena

The 10th International Run for Celiac Disease, also known as Making Tracks for Celiacs,
benefits the Center for Celiac Research at the University of Maryland. Funds raised
from this event will be used to support research programs and increase awareness
of celiac disease. Funds are administered by the UMB Foundation.

Held at DuBurns Arena, this race features gluten-free refreshments and vendor fare
after the race.

MCVET 5K and 10K Run

Sunday, May 29 at 7:30 a.m. at War Memorial Building

The MCVET 5K and 10K races feature courses running through Baltimore city. The 5K
begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 10K begins at 8:30 a.m., giving faster runners the opportunity
to run both if they desire.
Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training is a nonprofit designed to provide
homeless veterans and other veterans in need with comprehensive services that will
enable them to rejoin their communities as productive citizens.

Registration for the Chestertown Half Marathon is now open!
Athletes Serving Athletes, Washington College and the Town Council invite you to
