SFS/Bikes for the World (BfW) Bicycle Drive

Please save your gently used bicycles (children, youth and adult - no tricycles) and bike accessories, to donate to Bike for the World (BfW), a project sponsored by The Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA), a non-profit. A donation of $10 per donated bike is suggested by BfW to help defray the costs in getting the bikes to quality programs overseas. This event is advertised on the BfW website and we are expecting bike donations from the wider DC community as well. We will need many student and parent volunteers to work alongside members of BfW to receive and prepare the donated bikes for shipping overseas where they will be distributed to those in need.
