The program will focus on key developments in political law of which corporate counsel, executives and lobbyists should be aware as they formulate and execute strategies to advocate their interests in Washington, D.C., and in the states. From a discussion of political law related cases that the Supreme Court has decided to hear, to key legislative activity in the states, to recent developments in the pay-to-play arena, the program will address the developing issues in this increasingly expanding area of the law.

King & Spalding is an accredited provider of CLE credit in California, Georgia, New York, Rhode Island and Texas. We also apply, when appropriate, for CLE credit in North Carolina and Virginia. We do not apply for or grant credit in any states other than California, Georgia, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia and New York. Note for New York lawyers: The Interactive Webcast format is approved for experienced lawyers only. This format is considered "Non-Traditional" and is not approved for newly admitted NY lawyers (in their first 2 years). The content of this program is considered "Transitional " and "Non-Transitional". We will apply for CPD points with the Law Society of London.

All participants who certify that they attended the entire session and wish to receive CLE credit will receive a Universal Certificate of Attendance.

In addition, if a particular program qualifies for CLE credit in Georgia and/or Texas, King & Spalding will submit credits for participants to the Georgia and Texas bars. California and New York attorneys will receive their state-specific Certificate of Attendance to use when reporting compliance to their state bar. If Virginia approves a program for CLE credit, we will e-mail Virginia participants a Virginia Certificate of Attendance to report credit.

A number of other states will allow credit for online CLE seminars. Note that some states limit the number of credit hours attorneys may claim for online CLE activities, and state rules vary with regard to whether online CLE activities qualify for participatory or self study credits. Unfortunately, some CLE states are currently not allowing any credit for online CLE seminars. You will need to check with your State Bar(s) to determine if your state(s) will grant CLE credit, and you might be required to submit your Certificate of Attendance.
