Dear Hunter,

These days, I spend a lot of time in airports. Two in particular - Boston Logan and Reagan National in DC. At least twice a week you can usually find me in one of those, waiting for the shuttle flight down to the U.S. Capitol or back home to Brookline.

People ask me if the back and forth is tiring. I tell them it's the best part of my job. Ok, I could do without the actual airplane time, but connecting what goes on in Washington to what matters most in the 4th District is what this job is all about.

That's why, after votes are done, you can usually find me on the first flight back to Boston. After that, it's as many stops in the district as we can fit in.
