In 2 months we will be holding our 8th ZERO Prostate Cancer Run. It is now time to kick registration, team building and fund raising into high gear! This is an important event for the community, for all men who have or will get prostate cancer and for Chesapeake Urology! Please help make our 2014 event our best ever.

We have already raised $104,000 and 200 people have registered. That is up 16%. Jimmy Charles, a local boy making good in Nashville as a country singer, will be performing and introduce a song he is writing as a tribute to all prostate cancer survivors. Kids will love the new run, The Super Hero Dash!

Mark your calendar now for the 2014 ZPCC, Sunday, September 14, 2014, 8:30 am. We will have the 10K and the 5K Walk/Run. The event is being held at the Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University. This is a national event with 34 cities participating in the race series this year. I am reaching out to you hoping you will want to be a part of the Challenge. You make such an impact on all of our prostate cancer survivors and our many participants. Over the last 8 years you have helped raise more than $2,000,000. Our cancer care program has provided free cancer screenings to over 6,000 men in Baltimore and diagnosed many prostate cancers that saved lives. Our scholarship through the Urology Care Foundation of the American Urological Association has been funded to $920,000. We will fulfill our $1,000,000 commitment by the end of this year! This money is funding prostate cancer researchers.

Come out and participate for someone you care about who has been touched by prostate cancer or any cancer. Form your running and walking teams now!
