Hi Kathy -
A guy from Iowa who was instrumental in then-Senator Biden’s Iowa network passed away yesterday. Chuck Taylor. I’m absolutely crushed. He was a great friend. He went in for bypass surgery yesterday, and passed away shortly after. Here’s an article Chuck wrote in late 2007 declaring his support for Joe Biden. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=404x4521
Here’s a pic I took of them together. That’s Chuck in blue, next to Hunter. Chuck’s wife is Pat, her number is 563-380-6885. Her son Matt also called me (I learned on Facebook). His cell is: 847-293-8259.
I will send the obit as soon as it’s published. If the VP gets a minute I hope he’ll call Pat. I’m 90% sure Chuck and Pat came to DC for the first inaugural.
