Dear Robert Biden

More than two years have passed since we embarked on a mission: our return to perhaps the toughest long-distance race in the world: Le Mans. Our engineers started from scratch, scrutinised every detail and left the past behind.

The moment finally arrived: the 82nd edition of this traditional race offered everything that this classic is famous for. In the hard fought competition, the Porsche teams showed strong team performances in the 919 Hybrid and the 911 RSR. This time without winners' laurels, but with the deepest trust in our principles and the excitement of returning even stronger next year.

Our special thanks go out to all the team members, to our backers and, of course, to our fans. The mission continues – work on the LMP1 race car for 2015 has already begun.

The start of the new racing season.

Fans of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup can look forward to an exciting season. The first two of a total of 10 races in the series have already taken place in Barcelona and Monaco. The new season will see 26 drivers from 12 countries under starter's orders. Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup races are staged exclusively as part of Formula 1.
