That's helpful and part of what I meant of revenue assumptions. What is the real chance they get to them and how optimistic/pessimistic are the assumptions? The thing that struck me as I read it was that as a novice in analyzing the business of social networks but as a potential user it seems understandably much more difficult to manage as a user compared to Facebook. Again understandably based on what they are trying to achieve. I think their greatest chance for success is outside of the US. I am not sure how many US Facebook users would be pushed to switch to this based on the appeal of a celebrity ambassador (depends on who it is) or making some money. That said, to me it is in emerging markets where people may not be on Facebook and where the appeal of a local ambassador or the money may make a difference. I'd like to find out how much of their revenue assumptions are relying on more mature markets vs emerging markets. If that is a target area they should probably be working on a mobile application to target emerging market cell phone users. May be my age too and probably aren't the target market in the US. Be interested in what your girls would think of a site like this. And like you correctly point out the chances for success rely on the viral-ness of it. One reason Google+ isn't much of a success is no one knows anyone else who's on it or who wants to switch from Facebook for it. That said, I'd like to know if Cayova has the same level of success of Google+ then how much would Cayova make in revenue. Bottom line, I am still bullish, just my questions triggered by reading the CIM. Eric D. Also, what are the comparable companies that have grown at this rate with almost purely viral, word of mouth, early celebrity adopters marketing? It seems there is a general consensus from those that have seen it that they like it- but it's not hard to like a one minute video with an Irish actor voice over. Finally- this can only be answered when I get there- do they have the tech team to make it work. > > RHB > 202.333.1880 > > On Mar 17, 2013, at 7:03 PM, Eric Schwerin <eschwerin@rosemontseneca.com> wrote: > >> Not sure if you had a chance to read the document but if you did and have any questions you want me to ask Paddy tomorrow at 9am let me know. >> >> Clearly I am focused on the revenue numbers/assumptions first and foremost. >> >> Eric D.
