I think he should not do it and there is no reason for him to call Todd. It is appropriate for Tim Mullaney to " decline by stating that Beau’s not doing interviews on politics at this time but we’ll look forward to keeping in touch for the future." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josh Alcorn" <josh@beaubiden.com> To: "Hunter Biden" <hbiden@rosemontseneca.com>, "kaufman, ted" <tedkaufman@comcast.net>, "biden, beau" <261penn@gmail.com> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2014 3:28:42 PM Subject: Fwd: Join Chuck Todd for a special series on Delaware next week? Hey guys, see below for a request from Chuckie Todd. My inclination is to decline. We probably shouldn't have Beau's first interview post-announcement with a national person like CTodd. Better to do something local first. Or else go big with a Robin Roberts or Savannah Gutherie or something. Thoughts? If we decide not to do this, I do think Beau should all Chuck and say thanks, but not this time. I don't want to blow him off with a staff decline. /ja 302-598-1885 (cell) Sent from my iPhone, which is responsible for any typos. Importance: High Hope you are well. I wanted to reach out and see if Attorney General Biden is available to join Chuck Todd on MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown at 9amET one day next week. Recently, we launched a new series on the show called TDR50. It’s an ongoing “State of the States” series where we focus on the politics in various states every day for an entire week. We devote at least one segment of our show every day to discuss important issues and the political landscape of our selected states. If you haven’t seen them already you can watch some segments at www.rundown.msnbc.com We kicked off the series a few months with Florida and were joined by Gov. Rick Scott and Florida reporters including Adam Smith. Since then we’ve focused on dozens of states and have been joined by Governors, Senators and Congressmen and Congresswomen from across the country. Next week our focus is on Delaware, and we would love to have the Attorney General join us to discuss the politics and policies important in the state. Please let us know what you think. Thanks so much for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope we can make something work!
