Please find attached background materials for your intro meeting with Ralph
Clark, CEO of Shotspotter tomorrow. This is a "get to know you" intro
meeting during which he will present the business. He has agreed to speak
at the annual meeting and I think this could be a good deal for RSTP if we
can get the customer acquisition model right. Please also see my message to

Hi Ralph,

My DC team is looking forward to meeting you tomorrow and I will dial in as
I need to be in Chicago. You will be meeting with Hunter Biden, Eric
Schwerin and Rob Walker. They are the three partners in our DC office who
run our business development team and they are über-connected in DC and
internationally. Their expectation is for you to give them an overview of
Shotspotter and get to know you.

In our internal discussions regarding the company there has been a great
amount of enthusiasm. It seems as if it is not a question of if your system
is adopted but when--we view the business as a great recurring revenue
model with high barriers to entry that is good for the world. The trick is
customer adoption. It is clear that faster scaling requires a more
efficient/less expensive customer acquisition model than you are currently
modeling. What we would like to figure out is how we can bring our network
to bear to help make this happen. I do not expect us to have the answer to
this at our meeting tomorrow, but I just wanted to give you the heads up
that this is what our entire team is thinking about and to the extent you
can better arm us that would be great. As such, besides a general business
overview diving a little deeper into how you have pursued customer
acquisition over time and any analytics you have around this would be
helpful.

My apologies for the delayed response but I just got back home from a 10
day trip where the last few days where spent in DC. Please find attached
our five year financial model along with an investor presentation I made at
the Imperial Capital Security Conference held in Dec '12.

I will be traveling to DC again week after next to attend the National
League of Cities Conference. Let me know if you would like to have me
