Here is the deal. It's all about time. He has to come to an agreement on debt ceiling. To that end they have cancelled basically every other event trip or meeting on his schedule- including long planned state visit to China. They (Biden Group) are meeting face to face 3 hours a day Tue- Thur. The prep for that is 10X. My opinion JRB shouldn't have to call a friend to explain this- but I'm talking to Kevin today and will get his side of things.
