After spending over an hour perched on the parking deck across the street to take the station shot, I was in the waiting room, prepared to take a train south when I was greeted by this familiar face, hurrying to catch his train. True to everything I'd ever heard about your dad, he stopped to speak with an elderly African American lady, waiting to catch her train. After he'd boarded and his train left, this lady came over to me and said, "This is the proudest moment of my life. I can tell my children and grand children their grandmother once met the Vice President of the United States". To that, I can only add, "Amen, and so can I".
