As discussed in Boston yesterday, I'm sending you an email reminder regarding your offer to contact Amtrak to check on the status of the MD-Amtrak-FRA Memorandum of Understanding on the Baltimore tunnel project. We understand there is some hang-up that may delay the RFP.

I'd appreciate your help understanding:

* Is there a disagreement on the MOU?

* What is the nature of the disagreement?

* How will this impact the issue date of the RFP?

* What, if anything, can be done to achieve agreement?
