Dear Mr. Biden, It was an honor and a pleasure to have met you and spent time taking pictures of your dad, surrounded by family and friends, being honored at the Wilmington station rededication. In my 34 years on the railroad, I can't recall any event more meaningful than the naming of the station for him. I'll be sending more photos, individually, so that they can be transmitted in high enough resolution and of a sufficient file size to reproduce as well as possible. I will also include a couple shots of the station that were made into posters for the occasion as well as a surprise guest who appeared in the waiting room to catch his train that same day. I hope they will always bring back special memories of a very wonderful day. If I can be of further service at any time, please contact me. I'll be leaving our Corporate Communications office at the end of June to either return to my craft as a locomotive engineer of 33 years, or to tackle some special projects for Amtrak before I retire in the not too distant future. For that reason, I added my home email address on my Amtrak business card. Sincerely, Doug Riddell Photographer Amtrak Corporate Communications Washington, DC The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments: SPEC VP Unveiling DSC_0485 20110319 Riddell.jpg Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments.
