Good morning! I apologize for the delay but a new DC State Bracket will be going out today... the unfortunate news is that we will NOT be in that bracket. We did not qualify for the DC State tournament this year- we were close to getting the 8th seed of the tournament but did not have what it takes to beat the other private schools in our area for that last seed (record, etc.). The good news is we still have a chance to come together as a team and celebrate our seniors and embrace every chapter of our season. We did write some chapters that better demonstrate/showcase our Sidwell Soccer program this fall. As with life we dealt with much adversity and although we did not sometimes collectively put everything together --we had some awesome spurts and won some micro battles along the way. (life lessons learned). We want to thank the team parents for the upcoming team gathering -- the date/time will be announced soon and look forward to spending an evening together.
