Dear John,

The polls show a transformed contest. Where the presidential race had been close, Clinton has expanded her lead. But there is ample time for many more twists and turns in this unprecedented election.

The battle for the Senate remains too close to call, while some think that control of the house is in doubt, most analysts think the House will remain Republican.

It is your turn to outguess the pundits and predict the upsets.

Click here to enter our 2016 election contest!<http://cacnp.convio.net/site/R?i=Yn-JxfM9scbEcopy8Pnhzw>

We want you to predict who will win the Presidency and the Congress, key states in the race for President as well as a number of the hottest, most-contested and most-watched congressional races across the country.

So, here’s your chance to cast your best guess<http://cacnp.convio.net/site/R?i=Zai_lShBH7xvfmJNdNhiOw> as to what will happen on Nov. 8. Rules are below:

* No cost to enter
* Five points for guessing who wins the Presidency, the Senate and the House
* One point for every correct answer in key presidential states and Senate and House races
* Two tie-breakers
* One entry per person
* Races not decided by November 15 will be discarded from consideration of the contest, including races that affect the tie-breaker questions (in 2008, we would have waited until June 2009 to know the Minnesota Senate result)
* You must be a United States citizen to enter (say our lawyers). Sorry Vladimir.
* The winners receive glorification on the Council for a Livable World website
* Staff and board of Council for a Livable World and its associated organizations may enter but are not eligible to win. They can still be glorified.
* Deadline for entering the contest: Monday, November 7, midnight EST

Forward this contest to your friends, colleagues and fellow political pundits (even though we know you probably don’t want the added competition). This year’s election is too interesting and too contested to sit on the sidelines.

Cast your votes now!<http://cacnp.convio.net/site/R?i=Ahaa39VMI1j7OAs1-PIj3w>

Sincerely,
