<div>The submission of items for the November 1st deadline <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>was not effected</em></span></strong> by the internet/email outage that occurred on campus over the weekend as the College Counseling Office uses a non Sidwell operating system.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>If a student has a November 1 deadline - <strong>all ancillary items (transcript, counselor and teacher recommendations, and Sidwell Profile) have been submitted.</strong></div>
<div> </div>
<div><strong><em>Please note</em></strong> - Even though items are submitted electronically, it is still a human process as a person(s) on the college end typically has to download all of the submissions received which can take 1-2 business weeks. Many colleges provide on line portals which allow applicants to view what has been received. Even though these portals may be "live" they are being updated.<strong><em> Typically it takes an admission office 1-2 weeks from the deadline date to reflect on a applicant's portal what has been received.</em></strong> Remember they are receiving and sorting through thousands of electronic submissions of applications,transcripts, standardized test scores, etc.. Do not be alarmed if an ancillary item is listed as"not received " for 1-2 weeks after Nov 1 application deadline.</div>

<p style="margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 1em">As noted on the school's calendar - <strong><em>Senior Parent Coffee</em></strong> will take place tomorrow morning, Tuesday, November 1 from 8:00 am - 8:45 am in the RLS Meeting room.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 1em"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Financial Aid:</span></strong></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 1em">If you and your family plan to apply for Financial Aid, the FAFSA and CSS Profile is available on line and can be filed now. (Each institution has their own deadline date which can be found on the institution's website.)</p>
