Just a quick note to thank you for a really wonderful evening last night.

My dad would have absolutely loved it -- your words were beyond touching --
and I know he felt the same affection for you that you did of him.

He was very proud of you and the work you were doing together at the WFP.
So thank you -- not only for spearheading the wonderful dinner -- but also
for all you do with the WPF -- and for keeping my father alive thru the
amazing work that the World Food Programme continues to do around the world.

On another note -- I had not seen you since Beau died -- and I am sorry we
didnt get a chance to talk about how YOU are doing.

We both know that its just shit and I have decided that being a grown up
kinda sucks at times....

As you said, there aren't enough words to describe how much we miss our
dad/brother -- but hopefully, Beau & SRB are up there together (if you
believe in that) smiling down on us (probably horrified at this current
election!)

I have found that while events like last night are tough -- they are also
really wonderful in helping me keep my dad alive in my heart and a constant
presence. I hope you are finding ways to make the memories bring smiles
instead of tears these days....

I can do to help w the stuff you are doing w the WFP (i know im not SRB
