Dear Friends:Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Next-To-New Sale. Thanks to more than 250 volunteers, the Sale grossed more than $99,600 and netted more than $87,600 for student financial aid! This is a great success, marking this year's Sale as the second-highest grossing in the School's history. In addition to net proceeds benefitting student financial aid, all items unfit for sale were recycled, and unsold items were donated to 14 local charities. Approximately one and a quarter tons of textiles were sent to local recycling centers, and all remaining metal items were recycled, bringing in additional revenue to the Sale. Nearly one ton of clothing and more than 250 boxes of unsold items were donated to the charities. Click here for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Next-To-New Sale. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the many donors, sponsors, volunteers, students, local charities, and shoppers for making the Next-to-New Sale a resounding success. Without your support, this event would not have been possible. Click here to view the photo gallery. The key to raising money for scholarships at the Sale is simple — more volunteers. We welcome current parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, current and former faculty and staff, and students to volunteer at next year's Sale.
