Hunter- See attached and the email below. This is in response to my request that they shed some light on how and on what Kathleen is spending her money. Per her request that you transfer additional money- I am struggling to come up with a reason why you should alter the manner in which you have transferred and provided money to her. Given that you continue to cover all of the fixed costs, that just doesn't make sense to me. If this is all they are going to give us to show us what she is spending each month, then we will just proceed and craft a counter proposal. I will work on that and then perhaps we should meet late next week (I am in mediation all day Monday and Tuesday). Does that work for you? Sarah From: Rebekah J.H. Sullivan [mailto:RSullivan@ksfmlaw.com] Sent: Thursday, November 03, 2016 3:34 PM To: SMancinelli Subject: RE: Biden Dear Sarah, Kathleen's financial needs vary significantly month to month. Kathleen reviewed the month of October 2016, which I am attaching here, and which shows expenses in the amount of $16,236. Please note that Hunter transferred only $7,500 to Kathleen in October. October was a relatively lean month, as compared with months that would include spring break, camps, holidays, etc. With that understanding, I continue to believe our proposal is very reasonable. I reiterate my request that Hunter transfer money to Kathleen while we continue to negotiate. She clearly cannot get by on $7,500 per month, and cannot borrow limitlessly to meet the family's needs. Finally, I wanted to follow up on your email from October 10 when you let me know that taxes were not being withheld from Hunter's Burisma Director's Fees but would be included on the 2015 returns. Can you confirm all appropriate taxes were declared and paid when the 2015 taxes were filed. As we previously discussed, I will be using Debbie May to help review the finances, including the tax filings. We look forward to your response and counter-proposal. Sincerely, Rebekah J.H. Sullivan Subject: RE: Biden Hi Rebekah- I appreciate that I have access to those statements but I still believe Kathleen is in a better position to tell us how she spends money each month and what her monthly needs are. She is the only one who can look at a statement and know what the money was spent on and if that is a fair representation of what she generally spends. Having said that, if you would rather us take a guess at those things, I can do that. But that may not result in the most accurate reflection of her monthly budget. Let me know if she is able to put together a budget for our review. Thank you- Sarah From: Rebekah J.H. Sullivan [mailto:RSullivan@ksfmlaw.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2016 9:20 PM To: SMancinelli Subject: RE: Biden Sarah, No, I sent you the information Kathleen got from Hunter's office, which included a box showing the transfers to Kathleen's family-operating account. Hunter has access to all the financial records for that account. If I had Kathleen try to pull together an expense statement she would be pulling from the same information. I can ask her to do so, but it would be more efficient, I think, for you and Hunter to review the actual financial records. I will check with her, though, and see what she can pull together.
