_2011 Membership Information_


2010 was a very successful year for DAGA. We welcomed 26 new members in 2010
and hosted some of our most highly attended events in our history. Our
record-breaking fundraising this year allowed us to support Democratic
incumbents and candidates in 20 states. This success could not have been
achieved without your support. We hope that you will continue your support
in 2011.

DAGA will roll out our resources including our AG and Staff Directory,
Election Guide, Campaign Finance Guide and more in the New Year. We will
also offer new programming and engagement opportunities throughout 2011 to
enhance our calendar. We are accepting pre-payment of 2011 dues. DAGA also
offers a comprehensive sponsorship package to augment your membership and
raise your profile within DAGA.

_2011 DAGA Winter Policy Conference_
_January 28-29, 2011_

DAGA will return to beautiful Key Biscayne, Florida in January 2011! Mark
your calendar for the 2011 DAGA Winter Policy Conference on January 28-29,
2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne at 455 Grand Drive in Key Biscayne.
Last year, DAGA hosted 13 Attorneys General and 175 of our members for this
event. This year, we look forward to introducing our new Attorneys General
to our membership. Registration for this event is now open and will close on
January 21, 2011. We cannot guarantee space for this event past the
registration deadline, so be sure to register by [5]clicking here or

DAGA’s room block is open and you may book your room by [7]clicking here or
by calling 305.365.4500 or 800.241.3333 and asking for the DAGA room block.
We have negotiated a preferred rate of $255.00 per night plus taxes and
fees. _Please note that the room block closes on January 7, 2011 and we
cannot guarantee availability or rates if the room block sells out before
that date, so make your reservation early. _The Ritz-Carlton requires a
credit card to reserve your room. The Ritz-Carlton has a 72 hour
cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 72 hour window, you will be
charged one full-night’s stay. If you choose to cancel and we are unable to
re-sell your room, you will be responsible for one full-night’s stay. If

We expect another great turn out for this event. We have already confirmed
13 Attorneys General and over 50 members and special guests registered.
DAGA has built a substantive agenda for the conference including:


1. A political update introducing the newly elected Attorneys General
2. A discussion group profiling NAAG President Attorney General Roy
Cooper’s Presidential Initiative, Fighting Financial Fraud
3. A panel highlighting corporate citizenship
4. A timely presentation from the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center
5. And a discussion roundtable identifying the various efforts of the
technology industry to

and stay through dinner on Saturday, January 29 to participate in all

weather in south Florida is pleasant this time of year with highs in the

_2010 DAGA Holiday Party _

DAGA hosted its final event of 2010 on December 8. The 2010 DAGA Holiday
Party at Founding Farmers in Washington, DC was a huge success. We welcomed
19 Attorneys General and Attorneys General Elect for this event and over 225
members and special guests.

In addition to the Holiday Party, DAGA held its Roundtable Members and
Sponsors Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, December 8. Every seat was
filled for this event and we were thrilled by the response of the members
and Attorneys General. We look forward to hosting this event in 2011 with
our Roundtable Members and Sponsors to show our appreciation for your
generous support.

Thank you for your support throughout 2010! We look forward to working with
all of you in 2011!

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee_:_More than sixty tea party political activists from
the across the state of Tennessee met earlier this month in Knoxville to
formulate strategies for the next two years. Top priorities among organizers
included challenging the federal health care reform measure and pushing for
the State Legislature to make the State Attorney General’s Office a publicly
elected statewide position. Unlike other states, the State Attorney General
is an officer of the judicial branch and is appointed by the justices of
the Tennessee Supreme Court, not by the governor or the voters of the state.
