Dear Friends,

Please join us on a mother-daughter trip, specifically for college age
women and beyond, in beautiful Morocco, May 20-24, 2017. In addition to
visiting cultural sites, the trip is a great way to see how youth and women
become politically empowered and make a difference in the government and
civic life of their country.

During our visits to Rabat and Fes, we will meet with the Speaker of the
Parliament; local women councillors; university students involved with
government elections and civic participation in politics; the Governor of
the Fes region; a team of young politicians who won elections in Fes by
applying NDI's trainings; and women leaders discussing violence against
women in politics. We will visit the old Medina in Fes, a UNESCO World
Heritage Site; and travel to Ifrane, “Morocco’s Switzerland,” located at an
altitude of 5,460 feet above sea level with charming Swiss alpine
architecture.

Please let me know your interest in attending the trip before the end of
this week as we have to start making arrangements. The cost of the trip is
$2,300 per attendee, which includes hotel accommodations for six nights,
all meals, and in-country transportation. Each attendee will be responsible
for paying for the flight to and from Morocco. There are no visa
requirements or special vaccinations needed for travel to Morocco.
