Dear Rowers and Parents, Practice will be held every day next week in the gym, beginning at 6:00am. As you know, there is no school on Friday, March 4th . We may schedule a practice that morning in the gym for those who are in town , but with a later start. We'll let you know at the team meeting. A couple of notes about next week's practices: • On Tuesday, one of us will take the novices to Wilson for their swim test. (We'll meet in the gym at 6:00am and go from there). Everyone else will have regular practice that day. • We also plan to do a safety session with the whole team next week before we go on the river. This will take place during a regular practice session in the gym. Our plan is to go on the water starting a week from Monday--March 7th . This is dependent on weather and river conditions. Once we start going out on the water, practices will begin at 5:30am. Our goal will be to be done by 7:15 so everyone has time to get up to school and change for class. Information about carpools from Thompson's to SFS and our instant text messaging system for last minute practice changes will be covered at the team meeting on March 2nd. In the meantime, we'll see everyone for practice tomorrow in the gym at 6:30am and again this Saturday (2/26) at Thompson's from 9:00-11:00am. We will work on the boats (off water) followed by a group run. The girls should dress appropriately for Saturday's practice--warm clothes and running shoes. Ted and Broo
