We have to postpone today's private fundraiser for Rep. Cedric Richmond due
to his inability to get out of DC today. The house is voting on amendments
to Healthcare today and the debate and vote will potentially last all day.


We are working with the Congressman's office to reschedule ASAP. I will
follow up with a new date.

Dear Friends,


Please join the host committee for a fundraiser in support of US
Congressman, Cedric Richmond (D-LA 2nd District, New Orleans). Congressman
Richmond has many friends here in Houston and we hope that you can support
him as he is one of our most outstanding young leaders in Congress today.
The event is on Friday, February 18, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at my home. A
flier with more detail is attached.


The host committee is still in formation. To be listed on the committee you
must write or raise at either the $1000 or $500 levels, please reply to me
by noon on Tuesday if you would like to be on the committee. If you are not
interested in serving on the committee, please feel free to join us at the
$150 level. However, this contribution has to be paid by Thursday at 5pm
(See contact details for contribution arrangements in the invite). We will
not be accepting checks at the door for anything less than $500.
