FYI, Steve called today to say that he and Paul discussed and they would rather split their new hire 50/50 with us than have us pay the whole thing and owe us later. I told Steve I thought he was being silly - this way he gets more cash now and hopefully this hire builds their business for later so paying us won't be a problem, but this is what he wanted to do. I said I didn't care - do whichever was best for them. No big news, but clearly Steve is just trying to get through the end of the year with as much as cash as possible, minimize what they are paying us and get out. He has no interest in building a business long term (with Paul). Again, not new news, but still disappointing. Eric D.
